"heart of a sorceress"

Ferro offers to make the vampire armor, but he wants a "heart of a sorceress". Does anybody know where I can find one? Or whether the vampire armor is worth the trouble?

In that scene, when it loads, you see a pagoda. Above the pagoda is a temple (up on a hill). Check there - there is some really good stuff and yes, the vampire (chain ?) is worth it.

thanx a bunch. Do you recall where a vampire bat could be found?

seem to be the most prevalent places (though for some people, they either seem to never show up or mever drop a wing when dying .... damn those random number generators )

And how do you imagine a vampire armor? Draining the wearer's health, mana, and stamina?

that's EXACTLY how I imagined it! I was disappointed to have just a stamina draining weapon

It also at times steals HP from your opponent and gives them to you. (vampire effects). It actually gives stamina to you at times too

Where do I take a vampire bat wing to get a weapon made?

Is this a temporary effect (raising HP for a time / curing wounds) or a permanent one?

These make Vampire chain.
Vampire chain
Damage 9-12, to Hit plus3, Ini plus3, Primary weapon, drain stamina 10%, extend range, Frail-mace skill, lash, mace-frail plus10.
This is nice weapon, especially extended range of frail.

Why is it when you equip any other weapon and you have 100+ in the skill and in close combat you have 100% chance to hit, but (having 100+ in mace/flail aswell) when you equip the Vamp chain, chain, bullwhip, or Cat'o'nine tales there is only a 50% to hit? This phenomenon is very peculiar.

Probably because they were trying to make the game more realistic in the area of weapon use. Think about it if I am standing two feet away from you )sword range) and all you have is a bullwhip. What are the chances that you are going to be able to get an effectibe blow in with it whereas if I an ten feet away (extended range) I will hit and hurt you. Just as short range weapons are not effective at extended range extended weapon will not be as effective at short range. They will do damage just not as much.

That is a good theory, accept, it does not hold true for other extended weapons such as polearms, 2h staffs.
