I got the idol and read marten's words in the trang castle on marten's bluff. Now what do I do? Do I go back to the big tree?

Have you gotten the words in Marten's diary?

Anyway, you need to go back to Trynton. There is a place where you can only enter after using the idol. I think somebody there will give you some directions on what to get next.

Not a big deal.

Just go to the place in the upper branches in Trynton where you climb a rope to go to the vicinity of the Rattkin tree. Turn the other way, you'll find a pedestal where you put the idol to open a door. You'll see the shaman then.

I found the shaman and got the helm of senerity - just need to find marten
