Z'ant has tasked the party with destroying the Umpani ship. General Yamir has tasked the party with preventing the T'Rang from receiving reinforcements from their spaceship. The party has the Destinae Dominus, Astral Dominae, or Chaos Moliri) in their possession.

What do I do next? A walkthru says that the next task is to become a Templar but I haven't seen anything that points me that way or tells me where to go. What have I missing/where do I go next? Thanks.

In order to not have to fight all the Rapax in the world both at the castle rift and most important away camp is the reason to become a templar. However you can do it without becoming one. If you do decide to visit the castle see Ferro. He and Bela sell the most potent weapons and armor in the game. In order to trigger the alliance quest you must a) not have completed the t'rang and Umpani last missions and b) rescue the prisoners from the Rapax away camp. So unless you enjoy killing hordes of Rapax become a Rapax templar.
