While the Halberd is pretty neat, I can't uncurse it. Whenever I try to do so with my Bishop it fails. Fortunately it's on my lord so (despite the fact that this is in direct contradiction to something I read earlier today, which is why the Lord got it in the first place) he still loses hp's. The good news is, he loses them slower than a non-lord, so I can rest, regain just enough mana on my bishop to cast heals to get him back up to full, then start over again. Turned out to be an excellent way to "power-level" my bishop's divinity, but I need that stupid thing uncursed. Is there an NPC who will uncurse it?

It depends on how high a level your bishop is as to whether he can uncurse an item. Your best bet is going back to a save before equipping it and leaving it unequipped until you level the bishop up. Then save and equip it and see if he can uncurse it yet. If not, reload the save and wait some more.

If you don't have an older save, the only other thing you can do is to put a HP regen item or two on your Lord to counteract the HP loss and wait for a level-up or two.

Did you try casting Remove Curse spell or manual bishopic uncursing only? I had (still have ) a similar problem with CoC. Manual uncursing is too weak for its curse, so I have to use the spell.

What is artifact skill level of your bishop? IMHO, it's what's realy important for bishop's remove curse success.
