think i missed something......
im stuck because i donīt have the helm which is needed to take the DD , i know i can get it in trynton , but theres a door which im not able to open because i dont have the right item
i think this door leads to the 6th bough ( dont mean the door to the 7th)
am i right when i say i need the idol from marten to open the door?
another problem corelated : tīrang are hostile to me , and the idol is in martens bluff
i dont have probs with the power of trang, because my party is avg.lev 20 , the real prob i have there is that im not able to open doors with trang-hands on it , and i think the idol is behind one of these doors
i already searched everywhere arround m. bluff and found nothing
please help , im about to stop gaming cause im getting tired of it....thx

Yes, you need the Idol in to open the door at the 6th bough. The Idol can be obtained in a southern tower of Marten's bluff, not in Lower Marten's Bluff. To open the southern door I *think* you have to play around with the buttons found in the rooms left and right of the trap where the Rapax doll's dangling. I say "I think" because all possible combinations wouldn't open the door for me, but after I had explored all of Lower Marten's Bluff - without noticing any trigger - and returned to the surface some playing days later, I discovered the door had opened. Either I have overlooked something, or this is a bug.

As for doors only to be opened by T'Rangs, the one in Z'Ant's "meeting hall" can be opened by the T'Rang arm you should have found inside Marten's Bluff. Did you get inside Marten's Bluff already? For some other doors, you need a special Umpani device. If you still don't know what to do, just say so

... is the lever in the room past where the statue spits four arrows at you. You can only get to this path from Lower Martens Bluff (in two different areas/stairs up).

You need to find KNOWLEDGE in the room above the chest. Look on the floor...

got as confused as you as to what you were asking. sorry so, i didn't want to look really idiotic and corrected them.

to get the helm, you need the key from Shaman Das. that will open the special door in the rattkin tree to get the helm of sanity.

and the trang arm that opens the doors, is on the dead trang inside the fort in Upper Marten's Bluff..... when you lower the catapult arm and use it as a bridge to walk to the top level of the fort, and head back down the body is to the left. right near the door, which can only be opened from the inside.

i don't know if you are going to be able to get the DD without the helm, tho, because of the "special properties" of the DD.

anyway, there's a lotta going back and forth in this game. it's a good idea to try to keep all the areas open to you, if possible, for that reason alone.

fun of gaming came back ( found the catapult , from there it was childs play to get the idol)
but whats with my lost party-member ?
i dont want to use my teleports to trynton/seacaves ,(hehehe)
if my samurai-hobbit is still out there in martens bluff....

Examine the idol - it'll give you a clue of where to start the search for your samurai.
