"hostile rapax"

I just got into Rapax rift and all the rapax I've encountered so far have been attacking me. Is that because I have a hostile rating with them? I don't know how I could be "hostile" to them since (besides Antoine), I haven't met them before. Is that because I'm friends with the Trynnies? How do become neutral/friendly with the Rapax? I hear they have good weapons for sale...

First of all, both Rapax shopkeepers (Antone and Ferro in the Castle) are friendly to you, even if you've dissed the Rapax. You have done nothing wrong to get on the bad side of the Rapax. They're just like that.

You're in for very tedious fights in the Rift and Castle, until you complete the Ritual to become a templar. Once in the castle, go to the throne room in the north, go up the ramp and talk to the neutral Rapax. The south one will let you in to meet Al-Adryian, who explains the ritual to you.

After completing the ritual, all Rapax are friendly to you, as long as you behave.
