Any goodies in this place? I tried a couple of times reloading before entering the Clearing-- the best I got was the rainbow shield.
And is the Maenad's Lance in this game? It is not listed in http://www.accessv.com/~cpommer/itemtable.txt, which supposedly contain a list of all items and where they can be found.

Don't recall if there is a specific spot for it or if it is random.
