Hello,
I entered Bayjin by going through the Underwater caves and Bayjin Swallows.
Now I am trapped in Bayjin.
If I try to go to the Swamp, I get killed by a group of Rynjin.
If I try to leave the way I came through the sea caves I encounter a small group of Rynjin that kill me right away.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can escape from Bayjin?

I take it you don't have the set portal spell yet and have set a portal elsewhere in the game? If not, then you're going to have to fight your way out - I'd go back through the sea caves as the other group of Rynjin seemed tougher to me. Use Soul Shield, Freeze Flesh/All and Insanity as much as possible to immobilize the enemy so you can move in and take them out. They are only dangerous if they are not within melee range.

One question though - how did you get into Bayjin without killing at least one group of those Rynjin sentries?

I entered Bayjin via the Underwater Caves and Bayjin Swallows.
I did not have to fight any Rynjin until I was in Bayjin.
Even then I fought them as necessary and very strategically!
