I found the one in the Cemetery, where are the other 2, and how do you trigger them?

One is in the Mtn. Wilderness and one is in the N. Wilderness. For the first you need a long sword, for the 2nd a short staff. For details on where the runes are found to activate them, check out http://www.tk421.net/wizardry/wiz8runes.shtml

I need a short staff for one of the hidden dungeons to activate it-- I have never seen one, nor does any vendor in the game I can find sell one...?!?! I started with Quarterstaff and went to Spirit Staff!

Short staff can be found from the vendors occasionally.

Antone in Arnika carries short staffs. It may take several days of game time, but he will eventually stock one. I had the same problem.

Burz also stocks them sometimes. He and Antone are the only two I know of.

Regarding the Retro Dungeons, how were they discovered?
How was the item necessary discovered?
I never thought to look in the trees for symbols like the ones in the Graveyard.
Basically I want to know how they were discovered?
They are not documented in the strategy guide for Wiz8.
Thanks

leaks from the people that built them, I think. That or people with a lot of time on their hands.
