Walking in place in a puddle, a villager blocks your path.Solution: Kill him, but if you do it in more than one shot, you're branded a baddie by the village. Save right next to him and try and try again. A high level spell worked for me, and I was able to approach the shaman in peace.

Try talking to him, then walk away - he may follow. Or try talking then saying good bye, this may 'release' him.What spell worked for you?
