Can you have more than one Assassin?
After all the guy from the black hand mentioned, that he might one day have another assignment for you.
Does he ever have another?

Is there more than one additional quest for an assassin?
(The first is to kill the marauding assassin gruede morde)

There is one way to have more than one assassin but you must be playing without the patch.
Give the Assassin's Dagger to your wannabe assassin and enter the Pawn Shop. As soon as the shopkeeper sees that you have the dagger, open your inventory screen and pass the dagger to your 2nd wannabe assassin. Now your 1st character will be an assassin and your 2nd character will be holding the dagger. Repeat. You can even keep the dagger by passing it again to another character. It makes an excellent 2nd weapon that can be blessed with damage +.
I really enjoy playing without the patch!

Too bad I'm already through with it all and have too much work to start over just for fun

You don't have to start over! All you have to do is uninstall the game and then re-install it again. It dosen't remove your saved games, then if you want patch it again after you can.

Are you unpatched??

This is my second time through...and I love it. Cannot wait until next time...gonna see if I can make two Zen Masters using the pass method. Then I won't have to go through that a few times. I am definately going to try that with the Assassin next time through.

I am only on my 2nd time thru, and I only just killed the Amazoni Mantraps. I've been spending all my time searching out tips and secrets like getting into the Belfry and trying out the method for getting Skinskin Trait. It's been a blast getting help from folks on the various forums.

The thing I like best about playing unpatched is being able to keep quest items you get by passing them. The first time thru I kept the Assassin Dagger and the magical No-Dachi Sword of the Stone. Also, I got 2 Assassins and at the end 4 Zenmasters by passing the Dagger and the Tomes.

This is my second time through as well...and I just finished Skull Castle. Found a area that I never bothered to look into last time. I am also spending more time looking for stuff that I never bothered with the first time.

I really wish that I could get on the roof of both Shuregeon Castle and Skull Castle. I have tried for hours...looks like there may have been stuff at the top of the entrance pool at Shuregeon Castle...maybe not.

If you jump out the window from D'Soto's room, you can walk the top perimeter wall of the castle. At one point, you are at the top of the little tower that housed the entrance tunnel. There is nothing there. You cannot jump back into D'Soto's room, though (at least I couldn't).

I'm on my second time through. This time I'm taking advantage of joining all four party members to each guild just to see the difference. A good game I finally can get immersed in.

I am glad that I am not alone in liking this game enough to play it again. By next time through, I should have some really powerful characters.

I think that is why I fly through the first two towns...once we get to Brimlock, then we make levels up pretty fast. Just finished Skull Castle and am on my way to Anephas's shrine.

I took off a couple of days (Thur&Fri) just to do almost nothing but play. Reset adventures and took off am now wandering around Serpent Temple. Having lots of fun. Maybe I can get to the castle before Joey gets home.
