Has anyone tried this game with the patch? Does if help any? Is it worth trying now?

LAST EDITED ON Dec-30-00 AT 09:33 PM (Pacific)Just read a review in PC Gamer or Gaming World and it was less than favorable. Blasted it one side and then the other. The reviewer seem to like the PC development though. I do not care for the profession ladder W&W has to offer. Too many side trips to do and remember.
As for the patch, It is not too bad. It fixed the "pick up the loot" dance which make the game more tolerable. I haven't switch back to hardware mode yet. I'll try that later.
Now if there was a daylight savings mode.....
That would be nice.

With or without the patch, the game is playable. To a novice player like myself a lot of the things people pitch a fit about don't seem to bother me too much. To the RPG veteran, I can see how this game would seem below par for sure. Patch or no patch.When hit hits $20.00 on the store shelf I'd say it is worth it.
