Now, long ago I swore that I would never get into MMORPGs. Too much unfriendlyness going on. I wasn't even happy with MUDs. Well, I had the chance to beta test this one, and I got hooked.

It's a pretty good game. It's just been released in the US(March 22) and will be released soon in the UK (April 8) and there are still some problems, but let me tell you it was much worse in beta. The biggest problem I've heard about is lag, but I haven't noticed it that much. I've had ore problems with the missions system, which are known bugs and they have been working on for a while. Get's better with every patch, thank goodness. The gameplay is pretty smooth, and if you have a decent computer the graphics are great, IMHO.

YOu are not restricted to any one 'class' like in traditional RPG games, but can switch (almost) whenever you want. The game uses abilities that you load into your head, and these determine what you can do, and how well.

You really should have a good graphics card w/128MB and at *least* 1GB of RAM. More is better of course.

And if anybody is playing, or decides to play, I play as PsyCat on the Iterator server.

Ya, everyone should be there today ... what can you need over 1GB of RAM for, in an online game? No wonder they complain about lag
