"Drakan - The Ancient Gates (for PS2)"

Just finished this game that my son got from Santa We actaully both enjoyed it, but it was a bit too hard for him.

Not a lot of replayability, but I thought it well worth the price. A little bit of puzzle solving, a lot of fighting - both as the warrior chick and from the back of the dragon.

The end game kind of sucked, in that the last bad guy was impossible to defeat (as far as my experience went), without exploiting a bug (fly down through the top of his head, where he can't attack you, to target your objective).

Fighting got a bit boring, as it was oftentimes too easy to peek around a corner and lob arrows into a target ... rather than melee away, take damage, heal, rinse repeat.

Still, it was a long game ... partially due to long load/save times .. good cut scenes and overall story. Better than Bard's Tale anyway ...

I don't feel it earns the "M" (mature) rating it has .... I would say "T" would be more appropriate. A the "worst" words are "damn" and "bastard" .. as far as I recall.

Wow!! You just got that game for Xmas. That game came out a long time ago.

I have solved it many times now...so has my kid. I think she is replaying it for the 10th or 11th time. It is better to play the thir or fourth time if you use the cheats or God mode.

I have Draken (the first one) and so I had to buy Draken - The Ancient Gates last year.

Blessed Be~
