"No phone, no pool, no pets..."
Ok, this one is silly. I left my horse in the back entrance to the Serpent Temple, in the first room after the water. I just rode the horse up the ramp and into the room. I didn't think much about it. Now I would like to take a break from the Temple. I got on the horse and could not get out of the room. From the ground I tried to get the horse to move about hoping that it would go out the door on its own, but no such luck.

As far as I can tell, I really don't need the horse for the game. Never know though.

Any help? Thanks

1. "Try switching characters"
I noticed that when I tried to get in some places (like the empty 'fireplace' in the crypt, that becomes empty when you take some loot, like the Mastus sword?) I could not.

Then I made my pixie the active character and walked right in. I noticed a similar effect on horseback, when trying to clear a low hanging branch ... I switched to the pixie and viewpoint dropped a bit, but apparently not enough ... I still could not get under the branch.

You might try that (if ya got a pixie )

4. "Makes me wonder"
Did they get out the ruler and measure the horse + pixie first then build the temple to fit, or vice versa

5. "Same here"
I was thinking that the Horse/Pixie hight combination might be part of another non-critical quest in the game later on and it just happens to fit in that room too. I didn't think to see if I could continue into the Temple. I took a break from the Temple to complete the Toad quest (kill Scabban's people) and I'm headed back to the Temple.

6. "Nope"
At the entrance to the Serpent temple, I stayed on the horse and pulled the lever/switch. After the next world loaded, I was in the room, without the horse.
